This antique barometer in gold gilt wood frame/case is in superb and excellent condition. There is no structural damage or chips to the hand carved wood. The wood is top painted gold with and under color of deep crimson red. The glass front cover is super clean and free from any chips or scratching. The illustration on the paper dial is super crisp and clear and is not faded at all. The barometer was made in Germany by Specialwerk. As mentioned, the condition is excellent and I think it would be very difficult to find one in better condition. The piece measures approximately 34.75 tall.
