This is an original collectable early american Southern Calendar Clock Company FASHION Model #1 Double Dial Clock. It is one of the earliest model FASHION clocks made by Seth Thomas, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE CLOCK IS A’TRANSITIONAL’ CLOCK, HAVING BOTH LABELS FROM PLYMOUTH, AND THOMASTON, CT. It measures 27 x 14 inches, with 7 1/2 inch diameter dials. This clock has a perpetual calendar movement, which changes at the end of each month, and also compensates for leap year every four years. It has a key lock case. It runs, but the strike needs a governor adjustment on it to slow it when it does strike. Appears an amateur clock repair person did some repairs to it. It has a very, very limited chipping on the case veneer, but still is a wonderful early FASHION clock. This is one of the difficult FASHION Models to acquire. So not sure what the value is today.
