This sale is for the awesome French Holosteric Barometer instrument pictured. Note the wording curved across the top, under the glass: “STORMY – RAIN – CHANGE – FAIR – VERY DRY” – and on the glass face in delicate gold – the letters: H. ” and the year “1922. On the center back are the letters: H N P B – in a circle format, which appears to be the maker mark, but I’m not an expert. Has a metal hanging loop for display. I don’t have a way to test this instrument, and this piece is almost 100 years old, so please consider this an “as is” sale, but it does look like it has been well-cared for considering how old it is. On the back metal – someone etched the name S. Beesinger” and the number “05585276. Plea se check out the photos for condition and size.
