Dating to the late 19th century this open faced porcelain dial holosteric barometer has the skeletalized mechanism on display along with a beveled glass face. Typical of the era this well made barometer may originally have set in a wooden frame for a desk accessory. In good working order this barometer would make a great addition to any office or home decor. Marked on back: OB (maker)? This would make a great birthday or housewarming gift or addition to any mechanical collection. MEASUREMENTS Holosteric barometer measures 1.75″ deep by 5.5″ wide and weighs 1lb 3oz. CONDITION In good working condition overall with some surface loss of plating to the back commensurate with age (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
