Offering a rare Black Forest carved walnut barometer. Created early 20th century. This wonderful barometer features stylized flowers and vines carved in an open work fashion, emblematic of the carvers of the Black Forest. The original barometer mechanism and thermometer are working fine. This piece silhouettes very nicely on the wall. Measuring 22 Tall, 11 3/4 Wide. A very useable size for apartment or home. The condition is excellent. I found one very small abrasion toward the bottom. All else is fine and the patina is wonderful. Consider this very fine Black Forest barometer for your domicile.
