A Dutch carved barometer and F / C thermometer combination measuring with both finials 19 3/4″ by 7 5/8″. The ground glass is set in a brass ring, the milk glass thermometer dial registers degrees Fahrenheit and Celsius. Made in the Dutch tradition, the barometer scale registers in German, the mechanism was made by Hermann Richter, Berlin, Germany. In good condition, consistent with its circa 1920 vintage normal and expected wear is present as shown. They are in working condition but not tested nor guaranteed to be accurate. The instrument can be easily calibrated for your altitude if need be. Please look at the pictures as they will augment our description.
