Antique Circa 1890’s Oak Cased Stick English Barometer and Thermometer Late Victorian oak cased stick barometer and thermometer with engraved scales contained in oak case. The thermometer is in great condition, works well, has a beveled glass cover and comes right out of the case. The rest is in poor condition as you can see but could be restored. The bottom of the oak case is missing half of a leaf and the cover that hides the mercury bulb. The Barometer has no glass cover on it and has a piece missing at the top where the numers are. The mercury tube is still intact. There is mercury still in it. The size of the oak case is 38″ long and 6 1/2″ at the widest part. The thermometer is 2″ wide x 12″ long and 1 1/16 deep.
