This german barometer was manufactured by the “sure4cast” company and is in beautiful condition. Unit does appear to be working as the scale actually changed 1-digit overnight which is not too bad for the phoenix desert. The mahogany base is spotless with no cracks, chips or other signs of abuse. Unit has a brass hanger at the top. The beveled glass cover is also in great condition.
The interior white face is spotless with no discoloration and has the fancy colorful words: “stormy” – “rain” – “change” – “fair” – “vary dry” all in perfect condition. The “sure4cast” logo is centered at the bottom. The brass glass frame and the top hanger ring are a bit tarnished but show no damage. Barometer measures approximately 6 in diameter.
