Antique 1920s Short & Mason Stormoguide Barometer w Wood Inlay England 23.5 T

Normal/ expected wear with age. As far as I can tell it is still in working order with its original stickers on back. Please feel free to ask any additional questions you may have! Condition : Please see pictures for additional questions. Measurements : Approximately 23.5″ tall, 7.5″ wide at widest point. Markings : Stickers on back. Weight : 2 lb 13 oz. You may have specifics that you look for that I may overlook. I want satisfied customers and will do what is in my power to resolve issues I can. Most of my items come from estates and personal collections. While in my possession they are kept in a smoke-free environment, and away from pets. A superb English made late Victorian piece of surveying equipment. Made in England by the famous Keuffel & Esser Co. A laquered brass case with signs of use. Aneroid is not operational (arrow not moving, service required). Diameter: 68 mm(without ring and crown). Otherwise, an Unpaid Item Dispute will be filed. ALL CHARGES ARE FINAL. Antique Pocket Barometer & Altimeter Made In England

This is a very neat old pocket barometer and altimeter. The body is brass with a beveled glass crystal. Barometer goes from 21-31 and altimeter goes from 0 to 10,000 feet. The outer bezel turns for adjusting the altimeter numbers. This piece does not appear to be working, I see no movement of the needle. May need a cleaning or tweaking. Back has an adjustment screw for the needle setting which works. Measures 2 in diameter. The face is marked – Compensated, Made In England. An interesting antique pocket barometer.
