Super rare, antique house shape hygrometer and thermometer. Brass open work hair hygrometer in copper house, on wooden stand, thermometer on top missing, designed by Dr. Ernest, Friedrich, Wilhelm Klinkerfues, and made by Wilhelm. Lambrecht, Göttingen, Germany, 1870s, with rare hungarian distributor mark : Calderoni & co Budapest. In working condition, problem is the missing thermometer on top, and a glued crack on wooden stand. Total 23 cm high , dial diameter 7,5 cm, case diamater 12 cm. Big genuine antique French working weather station, barometer, thermometer

A big charming barometer, antique weather station, barometer, thermometer with hand-carved wooden swans. Amazing piece of history! It is very decorative and beautifully carved swans. Dimensions (inch): 27.5×13. Diameter 12 cm/4.7 in. The barometer is working, the thermometer is working, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy. Most likely, the weather station was made in 1905 -1910. Similar models can be seen in tariff catalogs for 1905 -1910s. Important: the age of the product is approximate. Antique items are not new items! Things that are old can be imperfect, don’t expect them to look new. Color may vary slightly depending on screen settings and minor surface scratches. Posted at you risk as this can only be insured for loss not damage. A great effort will be made in protecting the item with plenty of packaging before being sent. I wish you successful shopping! Top Quality English Barometer John Wardale London

A top quality wall barometer by the London maker John Wardale. The octagonal mahogany case is in lovely condition. It measures approximately 10 across the diagonal. The silvered dial measures approximately 6 across. The movement has been calibrated but fine calibration might be required for precise readings. Age is uncertain but a guess would be 1910 – 1930’s based on English Make. English barometers of this period were the best available.
