Antique French Wall Barometer & Thermometer – Carved Oak – Black Forest Style – Late 19th Century. Beautiful and rare antique French wall barometer with integrated thermometer, mounted on an exceptionally carved oak wood frame in the Black Forest. Material: solid carved oak. Style: Black Forest / Napoléon III. Decoration: deeply carved floral and acanthus leaf motifs, fully openwork. Condition: very good, no missing pieces, wood clean and well preserved. Tempête / Pluie / Variable / Beau Temps / Très Sec. Gold-tone brass needle mechanism, clearly visible. White enamel plate, inscribed. Scale from -20°C to +50°C with. Overall condition: Very good for its age. No cracks or repairs visible on the wood frame. Mechanisms intact and functional. A beautiful decorative and collector piece.
