This is an original collectable early american Double Dial Calendar Clocks manufactured by the Seth Thomas Clock Company, Thomaston, Conn. It measures 26 x 13 1/2 inches with both original dials retored many years ago. It has a perpetual eight day movement which gives the month, day of month, and day of the week, changing by itself, connected to the upper mechanical eight day running and striking movement. It has an inside label on the backboard and also one on the inside of the front door giving directions for setting up the clock. The movement is eight day and signed by Seth Thomas, and still has its geneve stops, that prevent the clock from being overwound. It is a shelf clock, but has a hanger on it, so you can display it either on the wall or setting on a table of mantle. CLOCKS ARE OUR BUSINESS– OUR ONLY BUSINESS.
