Offering this Rare and Unusual Black Forest Hand Carved Thermometer- Barometer made in the 1920s. The piece measures aprox. 19.25″ long x 10″ wide. This Thermometer Barometer has been beautifully Hand Carved with nice detailed workmanship. What makes this piece rare and unusual is the full carved Deer (Buck) and the Hooded Top resembling that of a Cuckoo Clock. Surrounding the piece are Oak Leaves and Acorns. They Thermometer has the original Milk Glass and all the Mercury inside the tube, and appears to be working. The Barometer has a nice Beveled Glass face and all the very clean Original Works, and it appears to be working. This piece has the nice old original back, with Metal Panels and Hanger If you are a collector, or have that rustic home or cabin look, or just like a unusual decorative piece to hang on your wall, this one is Great.
