Here we have a wonderful hand carved and gilded Italian barometer, in the French manner and featuring a carved ribbon design which extends three quarters down the main body and topped by a large French bow, the bottom one third terminating with acanthus leaves, swags and other floral devices. Original instructions and label affixed to the back. Excellent condition with some factory induced distress for that old world look.
