The all metal Thermometer stands 10 1/2 inches tall on a 4 1/2 inch diameter Black Marble Base and weighs over 2 1/2 pounds. The ornate Obelisk is decorated with Egyptian Hieroglyphs with a Ancient Egyptian Floral Design. The Original Thermometer is mounted on a Fahrenheit and Reaumur scale plate, the Reaumur Scale was used in Europe until the middle part of the 19th century. The Original Thermometer is Working and keeps the accurate Temperature The overall Condition is Excellent (NO Damage or Repairs) with Age related Patina on the Scale Plate. A Fine Antique Piece.
