Welch Clock Company, Forestville, Conn. It has the original finish in excellent condition, and a wonderful gilt designed front door glass, with its time, strike and alarm movement components behind. It measures 24 x 14 inches, with a dial 5 inches having roman numerals. Look at that original fantastic carved crest on it. There is a nicely designed gilded floral glass in the front door, and you can also see the pendulum swinging back and forth. The eight day movement is hour and half hour strike on a gong.
