Antique English Victorian Eastlake Carved Oak Aneroid Wall Barometer Thermometer. This is a true antique barometer and thermometer combination dating back to the Victorian Era in England somewhere between 1860 and 1890. It features a brass dial with glass window pane and milk glass mercury thermometer. Relatively large at 18 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The thermometer is accurate and the barometer appears to be in working order but may need to be calibrated. The carved wooden case is in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic wear, including a hairline crack near the base of the right wooden pillar (see photos). Ornate yet tastefully embellished with pillars and bell finials. Banjo style nautical device.
