I have for sale a very well built and heavy Surveying Aneroid. On the dial it says Ascent and descent and compensated. The large brass knob moves the very outer dial numbers. It’s a very well built piece of equipment that measures 5 inch across and an extra inch for the knob and it’s 2 inch’s thick…. I would estimate it weighs about 3 pounds. I looked in a number of area’s on the device but could not find a brand or model number. I cannot determine if the device works as I do not know how to adjust it. The Ascent/Decent dial works fine and there is a small set screw on the back side of the device that moves the large meter. Once the meter is moved it stays in place and does not fluctuate. Condition wise…. it’s in overall good condition based on it’s age. The glass is in excellent condition I really could not see any scratch’s. The dial does have some discoloration due to age.
