One of a kind. Extremely rare, antique, monumental & magnificent wheel or banjo barometer. Baroque style wooden case exhibits marquetry of exceptional quality, and is notable for the fine detail rededer in brass and rich, rouge organic material. Alabaster dial with applied enameled indicators. Made in France during XVIII century. This amazing instrument has details according to this age, but it is in very good condition considering it is more or less 250 years old. Boulle marquetry is in good condition with small details, boromether does not work and one enameled indicator has a minimal detail on corner (see detailed pictures). I do not restore it because i consider these details does not affect its extraordinary looking and i want to preserve its authenticity. Actually is almost impossible to find a barometer from XVIII century. Dial diameter is 12.3 inches. It has an overall height of 36. Wide is 22.5 inches and depth is almost 4 inches. Weight is more or less 24 lbs. All defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. If you have any question, do not hesitate to contact me.
