Here we have an absolutely beautiful late 1800’s era FRENCH BRONZE CHAMPLEVE ON ONYX BAROMETER THERMOMETER. It does have some damage. The little glass tube thermometer is broken ” fairly easy replacement ” and the onyx has several pieces broken off and were glued back on. I’m also not sure the barometer is accurate. Spaulding only handled only the finest & very top of the line items from makers such as Tiffany and other fine jewelry houses in the late 1800’s. It measures approximately 10 3/8 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide. Signed on the back: SPAULDING & CO. CHICAGO & PARIS along with a fancy script monogram. Well worth some restoration effort and it is the nicest we have ever had. The new owner is to pay 18. I will package this item with GREAT CARE!
