1892 Antique Advertising Thermometer Barometer Fred C. A Rare Historical Piece. Gross & Brothers were meat wholesalers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They made sausage, cured hams, bacon & lard. They also were melters of tallow! Patent date October 4,1892. In the photos I include a image of the company in 1909… I love the horses & wagons & the very early electric power lines. This was likely something they gave to customers as a way of advertising. I love the font style & detail. Both thermometer/barometers are not functional.
