PIKE & SON – NO RESERVE! Acquired at an estate sale is this antique weather station barometer and thermometer by Benjamin Pike & Son, New York. Offered as is for parts, repair and/or décor display only. Convex glass over the barometer. Glass over the thermometer, dry/damp and level are all in tact without any cracks. The thermometer appears to have a red bulb but does not register a temperature. The barometer set needle cannot be set. I have noticed if the actual reading needle works or if its accurate. The Dray/Damp gauge is missing the needle, the level at the bottom appears to be functioning (yeah, we got one thing at least LOL). There are two small side trim pieces missing from the bottom see photos. The finish on the wood is worn in areas, a little oil coat will make the grain in this wood pop nicely I just might do that while I have it on display before it sells. The barometer face appears to be metal with markings from 28 to 31 and Stormy, Much Rain, Rain, Change, Fair, Set Fair and Very Dry. Dimensions: 41.25 inches tall (without the wall hanging bracket that extends another 0.75 inches for a total length of 42 inches), 12.25 inches wide at the barometer area, about 9.5 inches across the barometer face, thermometer housing is 12 inches by 2 inches, dry/damp is 2 inches across the face, the level face is 3 inches by 1.5 inches and the wood is 1.25 inches thick.
