At near 80 I have decided to sell some of my collection of 150 barometers. This was made in England. This Tycos with a 7 inch wide case and a 6 and 3/4 dial with a working curved thermometer. The unit is working fine. At one time the case was nickel plated and most has come off. If the bezel was polished and it wa 1st hung on the wall you would not notice the small amount of silver collor on the case. The bezel has a small crack at the 7 oclock position. The thermometer reads in centagrade and ferinhite. It is very accurit. I consider the pictures part of the discriptionso look at them all. I have a collector friend that has 500 barometers and has never seen a 7 inch Tycose. My friend Metric Merill has never seen a 7 innchTycos either. I have this priced below my cost 10 years ago. Are there no collectors out there. I have 5 A L Breguet barometers and one of Vides the very first aneroid barometers made. He was the inventor and will have my best barometers barried with me rather than break my hart giveing rare items yo people that do not know what they are. You all know Tycos in England was a 1st class company and to find such a rare one and no one wants it makes no sence to me.
