W/ Milk Glass Thermometer. Antique Victorian wall barometer and thermometer. Hand carved wood case has intricate details with turned wood columns and finials. Barometer has ivory dial with black numerals and black and red labels, beveled glass front, and brass frame. Mercury based thermometer is on a milk glass panel with enamel numerals. Wall barometer measures roughly 15 inches in length, 7.25 inches in width at the base, 4.37 inches in width at the top, and 2.25 inches in height (38.10 cm, 18.41 cm x 11.09 cm). Has metal fortified area on reverse to allow for secure hanging on a nail or screw. In great antique condition with a missing top finial. Bottom finial has glue residue. There is a rounded chip in the wood at about 7:30 and a small chipped and splintery area at the back edge of the barometer case at about the 5:30 position if you envision the barometer case as a clock.
