About 7″ x 4 1/2″ x 12 1/2. When I acquired this unique, hand made device, the previous owner thought it is a primitive still, carried on shipboard for distilling salt water into drinking water. I believe it is actually a hand made barometer. When the two glass chambers are filled with water, a slight change in atmospheric pressure would result in a column of water rising or falling in the very narrow white frosted glass tube. Hand forged shoe foot iron frame. Brass set screws and iron hooks holding the glass in place. No condition issues noted. Nice old iron surface.
