It is in excellent condition, the dial is great and there is no rust anywhere. (there is a bit of tarnish on the housing) It operates as it should. The altitude range is more than most, from 0-12000 feet, the Barometer from 20-31 inches. It is temperature compensated for better accuracy. It is quite heavy and has a very solid feel to it. The diameter is about 2 5/8″ without the bow, 3 3/4″ with. The thickness is around 7/8. The glass is thick, beveled and scratch free. I will include a carrying pouch. All in all, this is a very nice example of a high end instrument that a surveyor or explorer would have used in the early 1900’s.
