This needs some restoration. I know nothing about these but will mention what I see about it and please use your expertise and ask questions and study all photos to get a sense of condition to you. Please read condition description and view all 12 photos. If you need other photos, just ask. Measures about 8″ in diameter and 3″ wide. Says Universal Exposition Council Medal. There is a very tiny stamp inside that I believe says Richard A Paris (see last photo for partial/location). Provenance: I picked up from a San Francisco estate sale. There is some provenance notes taped to the back. I believe it says: Papa barometer from London Fair 1851. Prize very ____ prize and then a later note: Papa refers to Mrs. Covert was a Mcmahon of which I ____ considerable about the Jewish, prominence in the early 19th century.
