Measures 37 in high; 10 inch at its widest. Would be a mild but challenging repair and restoration project; or can simply be an impressive Display as is. Is inlaid on real wood. The long tarnished brass. And semi-curved period glasses on the front are badly in need of cleaning. There are some loss of wood parts/finish on front. The little brass ornate finial for the top of case is missing. Two small wood trim piece s on the right side at the top and bottom of the weather is missing. No idea if this station works. The rear wood door of the case is in place and attached by the brass hinges that need some attention. The latch to hold the closed door in place is there as well. The old metal hanger is still on the back of the barometer case as well. The glass tube in the back of the case is there. NOTICE : the right side of the half-inch Arch border framing the picturesque mercury thermometer is missing. The wordings on the silver metal face appear engraved or pressed into the face. The barometer hand is still in place as is the hand to set next to the larger hand to not the last reading one had. The thermometer at the top of the Weather Station is in place as is the glass and wood frame around it. The mercury is still in the thermometer as well. The glass tube is there, in the back of the case. The item “J HUGGINS Banjo Style Weather Station 10w x 39L on solid wood withveneer” is in sale since Monday, July 10, 2017.
