1890 French Pocket Open Face Altimeter & Barometer. This is a consignment piece and is untested. It appears to be in working condition. Barometer is approximately 2 1/8″ in diameter, about 2 7/8″ from the bale to the bottom and. When lying flat it measures about 3/4 high. The face of the Barometer says Tempete Pluie ou V. Variable Bau Temps Tres-Sec (see photos). It is in original, average to better than average condition. The beveled crystal looks good. Everything appears as it should. The backside is a lil brassy as you can see from the pictures, as well as the edges and high. This piece along with some other fine instruments from this consigner.
