Richard antique barograph for high altitude. Probably from the later 1800’s. I have seen many miniature instruments like this but I’ve never seen one for high altitudes. As the pictures show, the recordings on the chart are on the very bottom because I’m close to sea level. Most aneroid barometers max out at around 3000′ of elevation. High elevaton instruments can be ordered, but I don’t know of any recording type are available. Beautifully made mahogany case with all original hardware. Drum movement which is all original still has the original winding hole cover. It’s the one with the key shape engraved on the top.
