Vintage CHELSEA SHIPSTRIKE BAROMETER, approximately 5 1/2 diameter (with front bezel on).. Found this at a Maine estate sale, the gentleman stated that it “works”. It looks pretty good, has some tarnish spots and scratches on the brass case, and some patina/pitting on the back-side.. But looks complete, glass looks good, inside looks good (see pics).. In regards to the functioning aspect… The needle has moved today, “very” slightly.. But the weather really hasn’t changed.. I did put it in a clear, plastic bag with air and when I “squeezed” the bag, the needle did move rather quickly to the higher number and came to rest back to its original spot..
