Beautiful Antique English Highly Carved Dark Oak Barometer. Wonderful Decorative Wall Hanging (c 1900). Wonderful antique English oak barometer with detailed, hand carved scroll and leaf elements. This is in very nice condition for its age and has a small brass engraving plate on the bottom front (not engraved). The top portion is a thermometer and the bottom is a barometer which reads “Stormy”"Rain”"Change”"Fair”"Very Dry”. The glass is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks. This is a very versatile decorative piece that could be used almost anywhere in today’s home or officea library or study statement piece! Direct from France (c 1900). Dimensions: 31 1/2″ tall x 12″ wide x 3 deep. This item is in very good condition for its age, solid and sturdy with normal signs of aging or use. Very few true antiques are in like-new condition!
