This is a circa 1925 C. Dixey & Son 8 day barograph in mahogany case. In fine working condition but needs a slip-on pen. I used the standard short point stainless steel well nib but it will take a felt pen too. Comes with a pack of sticey ended chart papers and a full bottle of red ink. Also has it original ink bottle in the case. It is very clean and running perfectly. I calibrated it and the response is great. This was actually made by Short and Mason and marketed by Dixey of London. Dixey is probably the longest continuous operating eyeglass maker in the UK having started their shop at 3 New Bond St. They are still at the same location and serve only the highest pedigree clientele with optical glasses. Oh it also comes with a spare metal pen arm. It is 14 inches long, 8 inches deep, and 7 inches tall. All original lacquer on the brass hardware. The item “Antique C. W.
