For your consideration is an circa 1900 antique barometer/thermometer. The unit has a partial paper label marked thompson & sons. To me it looks like someone has refinished the unit… There is no high gloss finish on the oak as i would think there should be. The barometer face has a paper label that has a stain above the 29.2 mark. The barometer also has a beveled glass face and the thermometer works. I know the barometer used to work a few years back however the paper face doesn’t appear to be flat and i think the needle gets hung up on the paper now. Measures 31.75″ long x 9.75″ wide x 2.5 deep.
