This is an antique barometer. Inside ivory colored portion is ceramic and definitely has some crazing. It seems to work well.

I have taken pictures on different days. But you can see the differences in first several photos. On the inside i have taken a photo but it is hard to read. It says “patent 2526″ and underneath that it has the numbers “4863″. There is brass around the face of this piece and i have not cleaned it so it will need some cleaning.

The wood that it is encased in is very heavy. It does have some wear due to age- one crack and one chip and several knicks.

It is still a gorgeous piece though. All hardware looks original, inside and out. There is a mounted tab for hanging on wall on back. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
