We believe this thermometer dates from around 1860 and is guaranteed to be at least late 19th century.. The thermometer is in nice shape with its original bronze green patina.. Their is loss to the gold gilt but it only adds character to the piece…
Their are 2 small shallow flakes to the marble base as seen in my picture.. The thermometer and tower have no damage at all and their is also a reaumur scale so we are 99% sure this thermometer was made in france..
