Hi, This is what I believe to be a walnut housed, German made, Jugendstil barometer from circa 1910 – 1920s. This barometer took a fall in it’s lifetime. The glass is cracked, the internal mechanism does not appear to work, the thermometer portion is enamel coated, looks old, seems to work and the lettering appears to be French. The walnut, though very nice looking, is cracked (please see photographs) in at least three places and re-glued or someone attempted to re-glue the broken sections, & nope it was not me! Ruler placed underneath two photos to show dimensions. This barometer needs some professional mechanical and woodwork / help and a new home. I have not done anything to the device, have not opened the mechanism or polished / cleaned the wood.
