These original antique aneroid french barometers don’t show. This one has a lot going for it: beautiful case with putto on. Top, fauns on the sides and scroll work on the bottom.

Rare Antique French Aneroid Barometer, working order, ca 1860
ANTIQUE J. C. Vickery Alligator Case Barometer Thermometer
It measures 6 1/2″ square and is 2 1/2″ thick. There is some discoloration on the face and alligator case (see photos). The dial is blued and moves freely. The alligator case is framed by metal strips on each corner.
