This is a very nice vintage holosteric barometer which appears to be in good working order. I put it in a plastic bag with air and. When i squeezed the bag.
The needle moved up then back in place. On the back it has the letters phbn. It was made in france and says x dourde under that. It is in very good condition for its age and i think it is made out of brass. I would say it was made at some point in the 1800’s.
