ANTIQUE NAUTICAL BRASS HOLOSTERIC BAROMETER & THERMOMETERS TS & JD Negus NYC

Negus navigation warehouse 140 water street new york. It also reads “made in france” on the front and has the initials “phbn” on the front and the back.

It’s not in the best shape with a good deal of oxidation. It does not appear that the needle for the barometer functions since it stays in the same place as show in the picture.

The centigrade thermometer has a red liquid and the fahrenheit is mercury. The case measures 6.5” in diameter and 2 5/8 deep. Despite the barometer not working and it’s well weathered look, it’s a very interesting conversation piece. Thanks for looking and good luck.
