This vintage late 19th century French art nouveau inspired wall hanging barometer is mounted on solid oak. The oak is meticulously carved & features a vined grape motif. The circular face of the instrument is under glass & features French words indicatng weather patterns against a white background. The condition of the oak is excellent. 11 3/8″ wide X 2 5/8″ deep X 29 1/4 long.

This early 19th century English Nottingham barometer is a rare and authentic piece made in the United Kingdom. With a Sheraton style design and intricate mahogany inlay, it exudes a sense of classic elegance and craftsmanship typical of that era. Beautiful sea shell inlaid throughout the mahogany. Thermometer works good but barometer doesn’t seem to work and not sure how to fix. 38 1/4″H x 10 1/4″W x 2D. ANY ITEMS STORED MORE THEN 90 DAYS WILL BE RE-LISTED AND CONSIDERED ABANDONED.
