This is an incredible fine large barometer! Signed on the lower portion, the thermometer works, I dont know for certain on the barometer part, that’s of course as is. There is mercury in the back so that must be a good sign. The only issue is the broken arch a piece of the arch is missing, this could be repaired, 43 inches the wheel is about 11 inches, I believe the name is Mazzo? Not a common one for sure. 19th Century English Rosewood Mercury Wheel Barometer / Thermometer. Circa 1840 rosewood cased mercury wheel barometer with decorative edge moulding. Circular gilt brass bezel with dome glass over a silvered dial with black inches of mercury pressure index and blued steel pressure, indicating hand with a brass history marker, which is manually adjusted by the lower gold colored key. Complete with a separate brass dial Fahrenheit thermometer. Small rosewood case imperfection, please see last picture. Condition consistent with age and use. It is in Very Good Antique Condition. 15″W x 3″D x 45H. Approximate weight 11.5 pounds.

An antique, Regency or Georgian, early 19th-century c. 10″ by 38″ by 2. The top canter brass finial has been replaced. Decorative; the gauges do not work (no mercury in the thermometer and a glass barometer piece is broken).

Vintage Weather Station Swift & Anderson Boston MA Ships Wheel Design Hygrometer, Barometer Thermometer. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Quite a nice looking case on this Vintage Weather Station here. It was made by a Swift & Anderson of Boston, MA. Probably dates to the 1940s to 1950s. The thermometer has the red fluid in it. Cannot say if the hygrometer and barometer are working as have had for a short period, so saying not operational. The wheels and the center post that hold the thermometer are securely attached to the base. Not sure if the faces are metal or paper. All faces are still in good shape. The instruments’s hands are all in place. The metal base and rest of the metal pieces shows some moderate loss of finish and tarnishing. The glass over the hygrometer is intact, a 1 hairline from the center hole on the barometer. This is a great project Weather Station here just waiting for the right person to restore it to the piece’s former glory. The Weather Station is 5.5″ tall, by 11.5 across, by 2″ wide.
