This magnificent early 19th century mahogany maritime barometer is in its original condition. The barometer was released (estimated) in the 1840s by watkins and hill, 5 charing cross, london. This mercury barometer weather indications and thermometer scales are clearly depicted in the attached photos. The silvered brass register plates are protected by glass. The mercury thermometer is used with fahrenheit and reaumur scales on an silvered brass plate. The barometer is in fine to excellent condition. The bottom adjustment knob is missing.
