Here is a wonderful signed Waterbury Regulator Wall Clock, having a nice repair label on the back from 1900 in Ohio. I has a very nice round top case measuring about 24 x 16 inches, with carvings on both’wings’ on the sides of the case. It has a brass bezel that lifts up to access the original 11 inch diameter roman numeral dial, having the Waterbury trade mark. It is circa late 1880’s, and even has a repair label on the back of the case from 1900, and also has a great label inside the case, showing it is made by Waterbury, and gives some basic directions for the clock. It has a very nice floral designed porcelain case measuring 10 x 9 inches, with the man of the mountain on the right and left front lower portion of the case. The movement is nickel plated and signed by Waterbury, and patent dated 1891. It strikes the hours and half hours on a coiled gong. ANTIQUE VINTAGE CIRCA 1920s. HEAVY CAST BRONZE & BRASS. COMBINATION CLOCK – BAROMETER. & THERMOMETER DESK OR MANTEL. This fine antique bronze Waterbury Clock Co. Has working barometer and a apparently working thermometer. However, the CLOCK does not work because the front collar needs to be reattached and the gears for winding the clock need to be repositioned and reset in place, adjusted, cleaned, oiled and set-up properly to run again. The bevel edged glass on the CLOCK can be seen around “11:00 O’CLOCK” on the dial face that a small chip under the bevel has occurred at the backside of the CLOCK’s glass crystal piece. Being about 100 years old, this clock needs a little work to bring it back completely up to snuff. 10″ WIDE x 6″ TALL. A wonderful, old and quite beautiful piece for the collector of barometer and clock combinations. Lacquer finish is dark and spotly in many places. Could use a good consistent polishing and requiring perhaps. Clock has a BRASS LEVER set on top – as shown. PLEASE LOOK OVER THE. AS SHOWN ABOVE AND BELOW. A resale number can be provided.
