Rare Large Antique Somalvico London English Mahogany Banjo Barometer Thermometer. We present this antique Georgian style mahogany banjo barometer branded J. Somalvico and Son circa early to mid 1800s. It is about 44″ long and the dial is about 12″ across. It has a few scuffs, chips and scratches (see photo) but it is in good overall condition. Unfortunately the glass tube is cracked and the mercury has all leaked out so it does not work and needs repair. Please note there may be traces of mercury still in the tube which is hazardous.
