An antique, Regency or Georgian, early 19th-century c. 10″ by 38″ by 2. The top canter brass finial has been replaced. Decorative; the gauges do not work (no mercury in the thermometer and a glass barometer piece is broken).

Antique Veranderlich Aneroid Barometer Carved Wood Case Beveled Glass A. Silo, Hof-Optiker Flensburg Germany. This carved wood case like a pocket watch and the glass over the barometer is a thick. 215 piece of glass with a bevel or chamfer around the edge. The case on this barometer is about 8 5/16″ (21.1 cm) in diameter and the thickness is just under 2″. The back of the case is numbered 309 and the cover on the back is marked with the letters H and F with what looks like a spread winged eagle and staff or Caduceus.
