Of philadelhia brass case, glass front fine needle barometer. About 4 7/8 front case diameter.

4 1/4 back case diameter. With 1 diameter wall hanging ring. The letters p h b ii are stamped on the back inside a 5/32 diameter circle. The dial is graduated in 25 to 31 inches of mercury barometric pressure, accurate to 2 decimal places.

For example 28.42 it weighs 1 1/2 pounds. It does respond to change in barometric pressure. But the readings seem low.

Hence the need for calibration. Also something is loose inside. You can hear a metal to metal sound when it’s turned over. There are two dings on the side of the case.
