I’ll be honest with you…… I get kind of confused about all the details surrounding these types of barometers. This seems to be an early dial barometer that has an exceptionally simple cornice, conch inlays flanking the base of the thermometer box, fan style inlays at the top and bottom, and nice stringing outlining the case. The weather dial has a thick beveled crystal covering, and a nice compass “rose” above the maker/vendor’s mark. I can’t tell for sure if this device is working, but can tell for sure that it is cool, and about 37 tall.
