This is an antique Weather Station, manufactured between 1835 and 1839 by John Pensa & Son in London. It is 42 tall and it is composed of 4 different instruments- a Dry/Damp dial on top, a Thermometer with a red alcohol tube, a wheel Barometer with a brass bezel, and a Warranted/Correct spirit level at the bottom. There is also a convex butlers mirror with a reeded bezel in the middle. The Barometer is 10 in diameter, it is covered with a convex glass, and it is engraved as follows. Only the Thermometer works. The mercury in the glass barometer tubes has separated and the mechanism that controls the barometer needles is missing- please see the last picture in the listing. I know very little about this beautiful instrument, so please, inspect carefully all the pictures in the listing, so that you can assess its exact condition for yourself.
