This is an antique french made barometer – measuring 5 1/2″ square & about 2″ deep. I think the casing is wood & it is covered in a black pebbled leather with gold embellishments at the corners. This can hang on a wall using the brass ring in back or it can sit on a table. A very unique piece indeed!
